Hahajima, Seeing Tuna I Feel Hungry

Tuna, a big fish, is always called Maguro in Japan.

On the second day in Hahajima, I was told there might be chance to see “Maguro”.

“What? I thought they live only in Baltic Sea.”

Soon I realized my big misunderstanding.

There are nearly a hundred tunas living in Hahajima.

“They are so big!”

Just look their streamlined bodies.

It is like a storm, made of tuna.

Chutoro, Otoro, Akami, I said these Japanese sushi menu in my heart and tried my best to control breath to make bubble no disturb big fish.

Still and silent, I enjoyed their swimming.

Hope they good life “Do not be caught by fishermen!”

There are many kinds of tunas. This is called Isomaguro and means Tuna living near coast.
